Hydrolyzed Pearl Strong Inhibit Effect on Tyrosinase

Introduction:

The shells of mollusks have a structure called the coat membrane, whose epithelial cells secrete chitin and proteins that form a protein-calcium carbonate composite structure on the surface of the shell, also known as the nacreous layer. The nacreous layer consists of 2-8% shell hard proteins, which are the main source of hydrolyzed pearls.

DropCare^® Pearl H (hydrolyzed pearl) is a small molecule obtained by hydrolysis of shell hard proteins, which has a strong inhibitory effect on tyrosinase, reduces the activity of complex enzyme, and reduces the production of intracellular melanin by inhibiting the expression of TYR and TYR-1 proteins, and thus has a whitening effect. Hydrolyzed pearls are very soluble in water, making it easy to apply in formulations.
