Mandelic Acid Small molecule acid α-hydroxy acid which can acne removal of sensitive muscles

DropBrigt^® DL-MA(Mandelic acid) is a kind of α-hydroxy acid containing aromatic group, the molecular formula is C₆H₅CH(OH)CO₂H. It is a white crystalline solid, soluble in water and polar organic solvents.

DropBrigt^® DL-MA(Mandelic acid) has a molecular weight of about 152.1 Dalton, which is larger than other hydroxyl acids (e.g. glycolic acid, 76.0 Dalton). This molecular weight allows mandelic acid to penetrate the skin more slowly, making it very mild and suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin.

It is a precursor to various medicines. Mandelic acid has a long history of use in medicine as an antibacterial agent, especially in the treatment of urinary tract infections. 

In some hospitals, a 1.0% (pH=2.4) Mandelic acid (MA) solution is used as a bladder flush to prevent urinary tract infections associated with indwelling catheterization.

To investigate the bactericidal effect of DropBrigt® DL-MA on indwelling catheter and urinary tract infection.

Formula: Citric acid 60.4g, calcium carbonate 0.9g, EDTA(sodium salt)0.1g, glucolactone 6g, basic magnesium carbonate 27.2g, distilled water (to 1000mL)
